| Li Changchun pays visit to model port worker amid May Day holiday |

Li Changchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Tuesday paid a visit to a well-known national model worker in Qingdao Port of east China's Shandong province, and also expressed warm greetings to other port workers keeping on duty.
Xu Zhenchao, a crane driver in Qingdao Port, has been highly praised nationwide due to his outstanding performance at his post. He not only fulfilled much loading and unloading task, but also made a variety of technological innovations and greatly improved the operation efficiency of the port.
Xu's achievements have been widely reported by the media nationwide, and he has set up an example for today's Chinese workers.
Li Changchun said Xu Zhenchao's outstanding performance has well reflected the Chinese working class' innovation and dedication spirit, and called on the cadres and workers across the country to learn from Xu and make achievements at common posts.
