Liu Qi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met on Monday with a senior cadre delegation of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party (FRELIMO) headed by Eliseu Joaquim Machava, secretary for Party organization.
Liu, also secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, spoke highly of the friendly ties between China and Mozambique, and expressed his appreciation of FRELIMO's and the Mozambican government's firm adherence to the one-China policy.
Machava thanked CPC and the Chinese government for their support and help to FRELIMO and the Mozambican government, and said Mozambique will continue to stick to the one-China policy.
The delegation arrived here last Thursday for a two-week visit to China, at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
