China's senior political advisors convened on Friday to make suggestions on the building of socialist culture.
Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended the meeting.
Chen Jia'er, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, advised that a scientific approach should be taken to develop advanced socialist culture.
Zhang Yongzhen, also a member of the CPPCC Standing Committee, stressed the importance of enhancing the influence of Chinese culture against the backdrop of globalization.
