Senior CPC delegation visits Togo
A senior delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) arrived in Lome Saturday for a three-day visit to the African country.

The delegation, led by Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, was welcomed by Solitoki Esso, secretary general of the ruling Rally of the Togolese People and other senior officials at the airport.

Wang told media at the airport that China is willing to push forward the friendly cooperation between the two parties and the two countries.

According to the schedule, Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe and Prime Minister Comlan Mally will meet the delegation respectively. Wang will also hold talks with Esso.

Togo is the first leg of the CPC delegation's three-nation Africa tour, which will also take them to the Republic of the Congo and Cameroon.
