Chinese, Zimbabwean ruling parties' senior officials vow to boost ties
Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Zimbabwe Africa National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) pledged on Monday to boost mutual beneficial and pragmatic cooperation in various fields.

China will work together with Zimbabwe to expand cooperation in such fields as mining, agriculture and infrastructure construction, said Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee in his meeting with a ZANU-PF delegation in Beijing.

It's in the fundamental interests of the two countries and peoples for CPC and ZANU-PF to enhance exchange and cooperation, Wang told Defense Minister Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa who is heading the Zimbabwe ruling party's delegation.

Wang proposed to step up high-level visits, exchange on parties' capacity building and cooperation between the two countries' youth and women organizations.

Mnangagwa agreed with Wang's remarks, saying Zimbabwe will insist on the one-China policy, enhance cooperation with China in various fields while confronting with the severe economic difficulties in a bid to boost bilateral ties.
