(Xinhua/Ma Zhancheng)Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping met on Monday with visiting Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, pledging to boost cooperation between the two countries.
China-Finland relationship can be seen as a good example of friendly co-existence between countries with different social systems and cultural traditions, said Xi.
Xi said that China is ready to make joint efforts with Finland to lift bilateral ties to a new height as the two countries mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.
Stubb was in Beijing for a two-day visit as a guest of his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi.
