Leading cadres open work blogs, handle office work online
As the Internet is playing a growing role in public lives, the connection between Party-building work and the Internet is no longer a new subject of conversation. Reporters once repeatedly saw several leading cadres take out mobile phones or open the Web sites of the departments they serve in order to introduce their work.

Some government units require chiefs of each department to open work blogs and even microblogs to handle office work online in a real-time manner. What is more noteworthy is that some Party organizations have established Party branches online and handle affairs online such as electing Party branch secretaries and paying Party membership dues in an attempt to make Party-building work more modernized and efficient.

Linqu County in Shandong province has fully used the Internet as a modern media tool to establish online Party branches that function as the new platform for the transparent Party-building work. This is an effective exploration for ways to promote the Party building using scientific methods.

Establishing Party branches online is the requirement to occupy new positions of the Party-building work. Party-building work has growing reliance on the Internet because the Party member personnel is becoming increasingly young and more educated. The proportion of netizens among Party members is on the rise. This requires everyone to adapt to the new changes and proactively strengthen Party member education and management using the Internet.
