"Various governance academies should take advantage of their specialties to improve the civil service as well as economic and social development through cadre education," Xi said Tuesday during his visit to the Chinese Academy of Governance (CAG).

Xi, also a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, urged the CAG to boost quality training for foreigners so to improve China's platform for international exchange.

Currently, 31 civil servants from 14 foreign developing countries are participating in a training program on foreign aid hosted by the academy.
