BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China has urged wider judicial exchanges and further judicial consensus among Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) members.

Zhou Yongkang made the remarks Tuesday at the opening ceremony for a meeting of the chief justices of SCO member states.

"Although the judicial systems in various SCO member states are different, the challenges we face in the globalized economy are similar. We have the same goals to ensure social justice and promote social stability and harmony," Zhou said.
