BEIJING, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang met with visiting Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean in Beijing on Thursday, vowing to boost closer cooperation and facilitate bilateral projects -- such as the Suzhou Industrial Park and Tianjin Eco-City.
"We hope to work closely with Singapore to strengthen political mutual trust, reinforce the social foundation and advance the construction of the the Suzhou Industrial Park and Tianjin Eco-City," Li said.
China hopes the two sides will seek cooperation in China's efforts to expand domestic demand and boost the development of its central and western regions, Li said.
He said relations between the two countries had developed well since the forging of diplomatic ties.
