The Communist Party of China (CPC) is willing to further promote China-New Zealand party relations and the bilateral cooperation in various fields, said a senior CPC official in Beijing Wednesday.
Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks in his meeting with Don Brash, leader of the National Party of New Zealand, the opposition party.
Wang said it is a consensus of the two parties, two countries and two peoples to strengthen China-New Zealand relations.
