CPC official calls for more exchanges with Communist Party of Vietnam
Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Monday called for further exchanges between the CPC and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
Wang made the remarks in a meeting with a Vietnamese delegation led by Hoang Xuan Cu, a member of the CPV Central Committee.
Wang spoke highly of the China-Vietnam bilateral ties as well as the relationship between the two parties. He said the two parties should maintain the frequent exchanges on the theories and experiences of socialist construction.
The Chinese side is willing to improve communication with the Communist Party of Vietnam to future expand and enrich the content of inter-party exchanges, Wang said.
Hoang, also director of the national security research committee under the political bureau of the CPV Central Committee, briefed Wang on the recent progress and major tasks of the Vietnam's legal and law enforcement work.
The Vietnamese delegation started visit to China on Sunday. During their ten-day stay here, the delegation will also visit central China's Henan Province and south China's Guangdong Province.
