The central government delegation led by Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong arrived in Beijing Sunday after a 5-day trip to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in north China.
Zeng, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, attended a series of events marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and did a few local tours.
Zeng visited Xing'an League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regionon Saturday and Sunday. He said the league should make efforts to increase grain output and make the region a grain base in northern China.
He was seen off at the Ulanhot airport by the region's party chief Chu Bo and Yang Bo, chairman of the regional government, among other officials.
