Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met Tuesday with a delegation of the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS).
The IUGS delegation, as guest of the Chinese Ministry of Land and Resources, is headed by its president Zhang Hongren and secretary-general Peter Bobrowsky.
IUGS was set up in 1961 in Paris. It is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization on science and geology.
