Chinese premier meets new, outgoing foreign ambassadors
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with 21 new and outgoing foreign ambassadors to China.

Wen thanked the outgoing ambassadors from Cyprus, Luxembourg and Denmark for their contributions to the promotion of bilateral relations.

He expressed the hope that the new ambassadors would make positive efforts to boost relations between China and their countries, adding the Chinese government will provide support and assistance for them.

The newly arrived ambassadors are from Sudan, France, Italy, Cambodia, Uruguay, Oman, Zambia, Peru, Chad, Australia, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Seychelles, Thailand, Surinam, Zimbabwe.

Also present at the meeting are two ambassadors designate from Sri Lanka and Mexico.
